The Telegram channel of the newspaper “Ham-Mihan” published an image of a letter written in the hand of “Mohammad Soroush Mahalati” by Shia jurists and a religious scholar living in Iran, in which he has reacted to the execution of the protesters of Dey.

In this letter, he wrote: “In an execution ruling, even for violent protesters, one must reflect.”

In another part of the letter, he criticized the authorities’ behavior in suppressing the protests and wrote: “When there is no possibility for peaceful protest, violent protest cannot be condemned as deserving the maximum punishment.”
