The Coordinating Council of Iranian Cultural Teachers’ Professional Associations, in a statement on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement, announced: “The Woman, Life, Freedom movement was not merely a street protest; it was a fundamental moment in the social and political history of this land. Undoubtedly, this movement is among the most important and most influential social movements in the contemporary history of Iran.”

In a part of this statement, it said: “We tell the authorities that the fruitless efforts of these days—by people and groups on certain podiums who encourage the government to bring back the morality police and reimpose compulsory hijab and women’s subjugation—are a futile attempt, and this movement will not turn back.”
