🔻 The disciplinary committee of the Football Federation rejected Persepolis’s complaint about Yaser Asani’s presence in Esteghlal’s lineup. The red-clad side claimed that Asani’s contract had been terminated and that Esteghlal’s transfer window was closed, which made the player’s participation in matches unauthorized.
🔹 The disciplinary committee, citing the opinion of the Transfer Committee of the Professional Football League Organization, determined that Asani is an active and eligible player. It also recognized Asani’s contract with Esteghlal as valid, given that the termination of his contract had not been registered in official and international bodies.
🔹 Accordingly, the disciplinary committee did not rule Yaser Asani’s participation in matches as unauthorized. Before Persepolis, clubs such as Mes Shahrbabak and Sepahan had also pursued this player’s contract status through legal channels.
