The Iraqi Ministry of the Interior announced that the country’s Information Management Organization and the fight against terrorism has identified and seized more than 20 domestically-made drones in Baghdad in two separate operations.
In this regard, four people were also arrested.
In a statement, the Iraqi Ministry of the Interior said that the arrested individuals claim they were buying and selling drones with the aim of trading.
With rising military tensions in the region, militias affiliated with the Islamic Republic are threatening targets in the region, including in Saudi Arabia, by firing drones.
