The Islamic Republic fired several missiles and drones on Wednesday toward positions in Alana Valley in Erbil province. A Rudaw news report, citing a Kurdish militia commander, said the attack targeted the forces of the Komala Party and the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran and caused no casualties.
Alana Valley, in the northeast of Erbil province, has been targeted multiple times. Based on Rudaw’s monitoring, Iraqi Kurdistan has since 9 Bahman been hit by 855 drone and missile attacks.
Erbil province, with 580 attacks, accounted for the largest share; it was followed by Sulaymaniyah with 244 attacks, Duhok with 29, and Halabja with two attacks.
