The U.S. Department of War announced on Monday, 26 Mordad, that the country’s Navy has signed a $22.9 billion contract with Raytheon, one of the subsidiaries of RTX, to accelerate the production of Tomahawk cruise missiles. The ministry said the purpose of this contract is to rapidly increase the production of one of the most important “long-range weapons” of the United States, strengthen the capacity of key munitions-manufacturing industries, and shorten the time for delivery of weapons.
