The Ukrainian army has suffered nearly 2.5 million casualties in the special military operation, Deputy Chief of the Russian Armed Forces’ Main Military-Political Department, Akhmat Special Forces Commander Lieutenant General Apty Alaudinov told TASS.

“The figure for Ukrainian armed forces casualties has long since surpassed two million. We must realize for ourselves that it is heading toward approximately 2.5 million,” he said.

“The powers that be behind the current government in Ukraine couldn’t care less about Ukraine’s male population or the Ukrainian people themselves, just as they couldn’t care less about the people of Russia. It makes no difference to them how many of us die in total: they have their own goals and their own objectives,” the defense official pointed out.
