🔻These images of a vehicle collision with a woman motorcyclist in India have been released and have rapidly gone viral on social media.

The images were recorded by a camera on the motorcycle.

Shivani Chouhan says the car driver in Gurugram city, in the state of Haryana in northern India, followed her and then intentionally hit her motorcycle before fleeing the scene.

The driver, who is currently in police custody, denies the allegation and her lawyer said that the impact was not intentional.

The police initially registered the case on charges of dangerous driving and actions that endanger the life or safety of others. But later, a charge of attempted murder was added to the case.
