🔺Trump: The top priority is to prevent the Islamic Republic from obtaining nuclear weapons

▪Donald Trump, president of the United States, once again emphasized on Monday on the social network “Truth Social” that preventing the Islamic Republic from acquiring nuclear weapons is the United States’ “top priority.”

▪Mr. Trump wrote: “The number one goal is, and it will always be, that Iran in no way, under no circumstances, and in no form be able to have nuclear weapons.” At the end of his message, he wrote: “Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

▪Mr. Trump’s message was published on a day when the 60-day deadline of the Islamabad memorandum of understanding between the United States and the Islamic Republic expired, without any progress in the negotiations or an extension of this deadline being achieved.
