The U.S. Navy’s Command in CENTCOM (NAVCENT) denied reports about a shortage of menstrual hygiene products on the USS Boxer and said they were “false.”
Since leaving San Diego in March, the ship has made four port stops, and its most recent stop was less than two months ago.
The ship also continues to provide menstrual hygiene products through the onboard store and medical facilities.
The command further announced that the Boxer received two large postal shipments in August, and its amphibious-ready response group is fully equipped and ready to carry out its missions.
