⚡U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday, 20 Mordad, that his actions have prevented the Islamic Republic from obtaining nuclear weapons; and he emphasized that if these actions had not been carried out, Iran’s regime would now have nuclear weapons.
In an interview with Win Allen Roth on the “Voice of Real America” network, President Trump said that the price of oil is now lower than during the term of the Biden administration. He then reiterated the main goal of his policy toward the Islamic Republic—preventing the Iranian regime from obtaining nuclear weapons.
The U.S. president said: “I stopped them from having nuclear weapons.” He added that if his actions against the Islamic Republic had not been taken, the regime “would have had nuclear weapons right now.”
Referring to the consequences of the Islamic Republic obtaining such weapons, President Trump said that in that case others would have been forced to deal with the leaders of the Iranian regime from a different position and address them as “sir.”
In recent months, the Trump administration has announced that preventing the Islamic Republic from obtaining nuclear weapons is among its main foreign policy objectives toward the Iranian regime and globally.
