U.S. State Department: The Trump administration is expanding its campaign against the International Criminal Court and is accusing the court of threatening U.S. sovereignty and abusing its powers.

The State Department says Washington will continue using sanctions and other measures against officials of the International Criminal Court whom it deems to be acting unlawfully in investigations or legal proceedings involving U.S. citizens and allies, especially in relation to Israel and Palestine.
