UN independent human rights experts have issued a warning about an increase in arrests, torture, and executions of members of ethnic minorities, especially Kurds and Baloch, and said that at least 24 Baloch citizens and 22 Kurds have been executed in 2026 alone, and that several others are at risk of having their sentences carried out.
