Videos posted on social media show widespread fires and rising smoke columns of thick smoke from the forests of Kalimantan, Indonesia, on Thursday, 29 Mordad.

Indonesia’s Ministry of Forestry announced that Kalimantan is in a red status due to the fires, and Central Kalimantan is one of the main hotspots of the blaze.
