🔹Four years ago I was buying 200 hydroxyurea capsules produced in Germany for 11 thousand tomans; today I bought the poor-quality Iranian sample for 900 thousand tomans.

🔹I am a father of two girls, and right now my back has really broken. With this inflation, I can’t hold my head high in front of my wife and children. Rent and shop rent are expensive, as are the costs of my children’s education. After 33 years of working, I still haven’t been able to save anything. Business is ruined and inflation is high too.

🔹I am a teacher in Sistan and Baluchestan province. My salary each month doesn’t even last for two days. I also can’t take a second job. My kids sleep hungry.

🔹I’m from Khomeyn city, in the Central province. It’s a city with the least facilities that has a missile site and for its people, there’s nothing but misery. Baby food in a 600-thousand-toman can became 600 thousand tomans.

🔹The cost of my child’s school uniforms has become so expensive that we can’t pay. My child wants fruit, but I can’t buy it for him. But I’m happy—because if I’m not happy, the Revolutionary Guards’ terrorists will execute me.

🔹Rent is high and salaries are low. I work 10 hours and get paid 9 million tomans a month. Sometimes I don’t eat anything so I can’t spend money and be able to pay rent. I can’t cover my son’s living expenses.

🔹Roudhen University, for the civil engineering program, has a fixed tuition for the last term, meaning it should be fixed; it was 2 million and 100 thousand tomans, but now it has changed to 12 million and 100 thousand tomans. Now I have to pay this amount, just to register. The Islamic Republic is taking our money from every side.

🔹I’m someone who has diabetes and I have to get a checkup test every six months, but because of the high prices I can’t, and my condition has gotten worse now.

🔹May you be cursed— I wanted to buy a laptop. Until three days ago it was 155 million tomans; tonight it’s 195 million.

🔹The Rahaf chain stores, with 8,000 employees— for a year now we don’t have insurance, and for four months we haven’t received our salaries; nobody is answering.

🔹Thursday night, 12 Shahrivar, the internet became extremely weak, and sometimes the mobile signal is completely cut off. This is Iran—people are being held hostage.
