🗣Your account: The state of life under political repression and military tensions — Tuesday 27 Mordad

🔹I have a spinal cord injury; it’s been two months now and nothing has been paid to us by the Welfare Organization, and honestly, life has become very difficult.

🔹Years ago, a satire was aired on the Islamic Republic of Iran TV in which a grandfather, from a family photo album, would explain to his grandson the names, types, and characteristics of fruits. Now we are reaching that point.

🔹How long are we supposed to sit and watch the Islamic Republic’s thefts? It has removed the 10-toman top-up app from the list, and we are forced to choose the 20-toman option. It also deducts another 2,000 tomans from the account. What audacity—stealing from the people’s pockets to sustain a few corrupt, faithless people.

🔹For Social Security, they used to issue insurance premiums for drivers’ payments and had a payment deadline. From this month, the insurance agency no longer issues the premium bill and you must pay it at the same moment at the agency, and they charge 55,000 tomans for this. Isn’t that called theft?

🔹From Tehran: A laborer’s daily wage is 500,000 tomans. I bought a plastic flip-flop that cost 950,000 tomans. Really, should these be recorded in the Guinness Book? Which people in the world live in this misery?
