A military source in Yemen’s legitimate army, on Thursday, 23 Mordad, said in an interview with Al Arabiya that the country’s army targeted and destroyed three Houthi boats.

These boats were used by the Houites to threaten commercial ships and threaten maritime traffic in the Strait of Bab al-Mandab.

The aforementioned military source said that the boats had been bomb-armed, had crew members aboard, and carried equipment for launching drones, and that they were trying to enter prohibited areas on Yemen’s western coasts.

He also said that Yemeni forces on the evening of Wednesday, 22 Mordad, repelled a Houthi naval attack on “Zaqra Island.”
