Abbas Araghchi, the foreign minister of the Islamic Republic, in response to the Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan defense agreement, wrote on X: “The time has come to rely only on ourselves and to pursue true brotherhood.”

Araghchi added that the armed forces of the Islamic Republic demonstrated their readiness, capability, and power against the “most expensive military force in the world.”

He wrote: “When Muslims stand side by side, we can directly confront any challenge created by hostile outsiders.”
