Ali-Asghar Peyghambari, an activist who was detained after the release of the video “Don’t ask me to sell my honor” and participation in strikes, is now facing the immediate risk of having his death sentence carried out.

Ali-Asghar was released after 20 days in detention, while there were bruises on his body and he had lost about 15 kilograms in weight; however, he was later sentenced to death, and reports say his death sentence has also been confirmed by the Supreme Court.

Now that he has been transferred to the Death Sentence Execution Unit, concerns about the imminent execution of his death sentence have increased.
