Associated Press said in an exclusive report on Monday that Lockheed Martin describes the Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) as a next-generation ballistic missile; a weapon with high destructive power, long range, and high precision that the U.S. Army has invested billions of dollars to develop and equip its arsenal.

It is believed that the first operational use of the so-called Precision Strike (PrSM) missiles produced by the U.S. company Lockheed Martin in the first day of the Iran war has raised concerns about the risks they could pose to civilians.

According to the Associated Press, “Using this weapon near populated areas could bring serious risks for civilians. This conclusion was reached based on a review by the Airwars monitoring organization for armed conflicts and discussions with weapons experts and former defense officials.”
