Ali Zar'i, a 27-year-old political prisoner and one of the eye-injury victims of the 1401 protests, has been transferred to solitary confinement in Qezel Hesar Prison in Karaj.

In a recorded audio message from inside prison, he, while referring to the confirmation of his death sentence, asked human rights activists and the United Nations to try to prevent the execution of his sentence.
