Donald Trump, the U.S. president, said in New York that the Islamic Republic will not obtain nuclear weapons and described Iran’s government situation as very bad. Trump also defended his administration’s performance in its war with the Islamic Republic.

Mike Waltz, the U.S. representative to the United Nations, also described the Islamic Republic as being in its weakest position since 1979.
