Alireza Zakani, mayor of Tehran, announced that metro and bus services in the capital will be free until the end of the war.

Zakani, in response to reporters’ questions about the continuation of free public transport services, said: “These services will continue until the end of the imposed war.”

The mayor of Tehran did not explain what he meant by the end of the war and what date he had in mind for the end of free metro and bus services.
