Alireza Zakani, the Mayor of Tehran, said in an interview with the Islamic Republic of Iran’s state TV and radio that he is not opposed to negotiations, but that negotiations must be carried out “with terms and conditions.”

The Mayor of Tehran said: “The Islamic Republic should rely on its capabilities in negotiations and determine the playing field itself, not negotiate within a framework that the United States has set.”
