As tensions continue between the United States and Iran, as reported by IRNA, Masoud Pezeshkian, the Islamic Republic’s president, on Saturday, defended the Islamabad agreement between Tehran and Washington and emphasized the need for the country to move out of the “not war and not peace” situation, saying: “In the Supreme National Security Council, everyone believed that this agreement is the best deal based on dignity, wisdom, and expediency, and not even one clause in it can be found that indicates surrender. All obligations are related to the other side.”
