Amir Hatami, the commander-in-chief of Iran’s Islamic Republic Army, announced the setting of a financial reward for killing or capturing American servicemen and said that anyone who kills or captures and delivers an American serviceman would receive a reward of $30,000 or five billion tomans.

Hatami said this plan was prepared in response to increased requests to participate in what he called “financial jihad.” He added that the Islamic Republic Army has set a reward for people who target an American serviceman within the framework of this plan.

The commander-in-chief of the army also said that the amount of the reward for Iranian women who manage to kill or capture an American serviceman would be doubled.

According to Hatami, the personal weapon of the person who succeeds in killing an American serviceman would also be purchased at twice the price, and a new weapon would be provided to them. He added that the weapon used would be kept in a museum that has been set aside for this purpose.
