As criticism increases of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s inefficient policies in the environmental field, Mohammadreza Aref, the First Vice President of the President of the Islamic Republic government, said at the conference “Green Industry, Mining and Services” that the government alone cannot be responsible for environmental issues.

He added: “Protecting the environment is a shared responsibility among the government, industry, and the people.”
