Asia’s crude oil imports in Shahrivar reached their highest level since the start of the U.S. and Israel war with the Islamic Republic, but are still 13% lower than the period before the war.

According to Reuters, based on data from Kpler, in Shahrivar Asia imports 23 million 960 thousand barrels of oil per day, compared with 23 million 380 thousand barrels in Mordad. The average for the three months before the war was 27 million 550 thousand barrels.

Asia’s imports from the Middle East also reached 12 million 560 thousand barrels, still 3.5 million barrels less than before the war.

Reuters wrote that these figures partially confirm U.S. Energy Minister Chris Wright’s statements about a daily removal of 15 million barrels of oil from the Middle East, but the situation remains far worse than before the war.
