In the video, a man who is filming says: «All these youths are hungry; no one hires us. No one values us. Each of them went after the youths with a Kalashnikov rifle. We want jobs. The youths are hungry. We have nothing on the table. We want work.» Karoun wrote in a report on Monday, the 9th of Shahrivar, 1405, that «the protesting youths and families, who had staged a gathering on behalf of the residents adjacent to this company, announced with their stated demands that the Da'bel Khazai sugarcane company operates on land with an area of about 12,000 hectares, and that a significant portion of these lands belongs to the region and its native people.»
