🔻BBC reported that Debbie Herthe, head of the English Football Association and FIFA vice president, in a letter to Gianni Infantino asked him to publish all documents related to the halted plan to sell part of the commercial rights of the World Cup to private investors before the October 15 meeting, on Mehr 23, of the FIFA Council.

🔹Herthe also requested that a written explanation be provided to the FIFA Council regarding the lifting of the ban on Folarin Balogun, a forward for the U.S. national team, during the World Cup.

🔹The letter was also sent to Matthias Grafström, FIFA’s secretary general, and in it criticisms are raised about how FIFA is governed and its management culture.

🔹Pressure on Infantino has increased after the halted plan of FIFA Enterprise, or FFE. Under this plan, a new company was to be created to manage the commercial rights and ticket sales for FIFA competitions, including the World Cup, and 21% of its shares were to be sold to a private investment company.
