Brad Cooper, the commander of U.S. CENTCOM, announced that American forces have cleared international shipping routes in the Strait of Hormuz of sea mines. According to him, the operation was carried out with the participation of Navy divers, the special forces “SEAL,” and Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps aircraft. CENTCOM has now announced that the Strait of Hormuz’s international shipping routes are free of sea mines.
