🔻Brazil’s Globo site reported that a bus rented by São Paulo club to transport members of this team in Bolivia was seized by the police in that country. Officers found 86.5 kilograms of marijuana in the bus. The point is that the bus had been prepared to transport São Paulo’s caravan and even the club’s logo had been installed on it.
🔹However, São Paulo club announced that this bus was never used by the team members. After this incident, the transport company provided another bus to São Paulo.
🔹São Paulo said that it was not officially informed about this incident and learned about the matter through local media.
🔹Buses Cosmos company said in a statement that responsibility for this incident lies with the drivers and that the responsible individuals have been arrested. The company also emphasized that São Paulo did not use a bus carrying drugs.
🔹São Paulo is currently in Bolivia to play Bolívar in the Round of 16 of the Copa Sudamericana.
