CENTCOM said American forces have helped ships pass through the Strait of Hormuz

CENTCOM announced that U.S. forces have helped the passage of about 1,600 commercial vessels and nearly 800 million barrels of oil through the Strait of Hormuz since the start of their security operation.

At the same time, Scott Bessent, the U.S. Treasury Secretary, said that about 30 million barrels of oil from the Iranian government still remain and that China has not purchased it.
