🔻CENTCOM: The route of 68 commercial ships has been changed within the framework of Iran’s maritime blockade

The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) says that until yesterday, August 21, its forces have changed the routes of 68 commercial ships within the framework of Iran’s maritime blockade.

According to CENTCOM, during this same period three ships were taken out of service and U.S. forces boarded two other ships to ensure compliance with the restrictions that were imposed.

CENTCOM says that more than 20 warships support operations of Iran’s maritime blockade. This figure was published in an explanatory video of the destroyer “USS Ross.”
