Chinese female helicopter pilots feature in live-fire military drill

China's military has released new footage of two female army aviators taking part in a live-fire maritime exercise.

Veteran pilot Wang Wenjuan, with 14 years of flying experience, successfully transitioned from armed helicopters to heavy-lift transport helicopters. Li Xinran, meanwhile, is among the first cohort of female helicopter pilots independently trained by the Chinese Army.

The video offers a glimpse into their training and operational roles during the live-fire drill.
