🎥 Continuation of protests by steel and Zob Ahan retirees; gathering in front of Isfahan Governorate

A group of retirees from Isfahan’s Steel and Zob Ahan gathered and marched in front of the Isfahan Governorate building on Tuesday, 27 Mordad, continuing the protests of the previous days, and called for action on their livelihood and medical demands.

By chanting slogans, the protesters demanded the establishment of health insurance, the payment of arrears, the implementation of the final stage of the plan to adjust pensions to salaries (proportionalization), and improvements to their living conditions. Retirees say that although 1405 is the final year for the implementation of the proportionalization law, 30% of the final portion of this plan has not yet been implemented for retirees of the Steel Pension Fund.

They also say that officials of the Steel Pension Fund and Zob Ahan Company pass responsibility for addressing their medical demands to one another.
