⏺🖤 Crime Reporter:
Meli ka Hemat Zadeh, a 13-year-old girl from the village of Desk in Sistan and Baluchestan, died due to a scorpion sting 🦂 and the lack of medical equipment.
Meli ka was at her aunt’s house. She realized something had stung her, but she didn’t know what it was. When she returned home, she showed her father the site of the sting. Her father immediately took her to the village clinic, where the doctor said she needed to be taken to the city right away. She was taken to Nikshahr. There, they only put a drip on her and told her she needed blood platelets, which they didn’t have; they said she had to get them from Chabahar, which would take two hours.
Two hours passed and became seven hours, and Meli ka had a seizure and died.
According to her father, even up to one hour before her death, Meli ka’s condition was good and she was doing her own tasks, but after 10 p.m., suddenly the scorpion’s venom took effect.
The people of Sistan and Baluchestan matter—does it matter more than Gaza and Lebanon? What kind of nonsense is this?
