Israel’s prominent presence in the list of the best universities in the world 🎓

Two Israeli universities are among the top 100 worldwide universities according to a reputable Shanghai ranking.

The Weizmann Institute is ranked 71st and the Hebrew University is ranked 89th. The top three spots were assigned to Harvard, Stanford, and MIT in the United States.

The Shanghai ranking is published annually and is considered one of the most influential and respected rankings in the academic world. This ranking evaluates nearly 2,500 higher education institutions around the world and, among other factors, takes into account the volume and quality of scientific research published in prominent scientific journals and the number of faculty members and graduates who have won Nobel Prizes and Fields Medals.

This achievement reflects Israel’s advanced position in scientific and academic research and its prominent presence on the global stage.
