The Deputy Student Affairs of Sharif University of Technology, in a statement, announced that the expulsion ruling and a four-year ban from studying at all universities in the country has been confirmed for Reza Dalman, a graduate student in computer engineering at this university.

Reza Dalman, a 24-year-old student at Sharif University of Technology, was detained during the national uprising of Iranians on the charge of “hanging a mouse doll from a tree,” and about a month later was released after posting bail.

The Deputy Student Affairs of Sharif University of Technology wrote: “The final ruling dated 25 Mordad has been communicated to the university for implementation.”
