🔶 Donald Trump: I consider the Strait of Hormuz “American territory”
Donald Trump, the president of the United States, on Friday 30 Mordad (21 August), at an election rally in South Carolina, called the Strait of Hormuz “American territory” and said: “We don’t even know whether we’ve won or not, because right now I consider the Strait of Hormuz American territory.”
The U.S. president continued his remarks about the bombing of Iran, saying: “Tonight is Friday night and we have plenty of time. What am I supposed to do—go back and bomb Iran a bit more?”
He also added: “When another country doesn’t have a navy, an air force, radars, technical equipment, and production, their leaders have gone, their second-generation leaders have gone, and parts of their third-generation leaders have gone. I don’t know who I’m supposed to deal with.”
The U.S. president also stated: “This is a problem. Iran is the only country in the world that nobody wants to become president. So that’s a bit of a problem.”
