Donald Trump, the U.S. president, will meet next week with oil refining industry executives in the country to discuss gasoline prices and other issues in this sector.

According to people familiar with Bloomberg, the meeting is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, September 10, and will include representatives from at least 10 companies that produce and distribute fuel.

Based on the same information, the meeting will give Mr. Trump the opportunity to hear directly from industry executives about market dynamics, ways to reduce gasoline prices, and strengthening domestic refining capacity.

According to Reuters, Marathon Petroleum, Delek US Holdings, Chevron, PBF Energy, and Valero Energy, as well as major fuel retailers, will attend the meeting.
