Europe’s natural gas price crosses 70 euros per megawatt-hour and reaches its highest level since Dey 1401.

Based on Trading Economics data, on Tuesday the Dutch TTF benchmark index contract reached 71 euros and 53 cents per megawatt-hour, representing a rise of 2.46% compared to the previous day.

Over the past month, the index has risen 24%, and compared to the past year, it has risen 125%.

The resumption of fighting between the United States and the Islamic Republic has intensified concerns about the security of Europe’s gas supply on the eve of the heating season.
