How much are eggs today? How exactly are you living?
The price of a 30-count carton of eggs in the market has risen to around 500,000 to 630,000 tomans, and in some stores it goes as high as 800,000 tomans; in other words, it’s the wage for a full day’s work for a laborer—even a single carton of eggs.
Eggs, which used to be a cheap food for families, have increased by nearly 22 times over six years, and in just the past three months, its price has doubled.
Eggs are still cheaper than meat, but they are no longer a cheap food. What is the price of eggs today in your city?
With these incomes and prices, how are you really managing to live? Write your story.
