The price of some three-tier graves at Behesht Zahra has reached 3 billion tomans, and the total cost of burial and ceremonies can be up to 180 million tomans. According to reports from some families, to cover their cost of living, they sell their own graves or those of their loved ones, and some, due to the high costs, bury their loved ones’ bodies in cheaper cemeteries or in villages.
