🔻Iran’s Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance: Activity of the Economic Warfare task force has increased

🔻The Deputy for Economic Policy and the coordination of the Minister of Economic Affairs said that the activity of the special “Economic War Room” task force in this ministry has increased, and that the government has planned for managing the consequences of economic warfare and dealing with different scenarios, from difficult conditions to normal situations.

Morteza Zamanian said that this task force was formed at the beginning of the economic warfare to examine economic developments in the country, and that its work has been followed more seriously since last week by order of the minister of economic affairs.

According to him, “continuous monitoring of macroeconomic indicators and reviewing the process of supplying and distributing goods and services” are among the most important duties of this task force.

The deputy minister of economic affairs also said that some government programs and decisions cannot be publicly released due to their confidential nature, and that this should not be taken to mean that there are no plans.

He also said that, in order to maintain the production process and ensure the supply of goods and services, the government has foreseen the necessary measures for a wide range of possible conditions.
