🔻Iran’s national basketball team, in the semifinals of the 2026 Nagoya Asian Games, lost to South Korea 77–51 and failed to advance to the final. At the end of the first half, Iran trailed 36–24, and in the end it lost by 26 points.

🔹The Iranian national players, who in the group stage had finished first in Group B with two wins over Taiwan and Jordan, reached the semifinals after Bahrain lost in the quarterfinals. The Iranian national team will face the loser of the China–Japan match on Sunday, September 29, in the classification match to win the bronze medal.
