Iran’s non-oil trade value in the first four months of 1405 has fallen by about 30% due to war and disruptions in maritime transport routes.

Mohammad-Sadegh Qanadzadeh, deputy for trade services at Iran’s Trade Development Organization, said in announcing this that Iran’s exports and imports in this period have decreased at almost the same rate. He cited war and the blocking of maritime transport routes as among the most important reasons for the drop in Iran’s foreign trade.
