🔻Iraq says Iran has not allowed Iraqi oil tankers to pass through the Strait of Hormuz

Ali Zeydi, Iraq’s prime minister, has said that Iran has not allowed Iraqi tankers to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.

According to him, Tehran’s goal with this move is to raise global oil prices.

Mr. Zeydi said: «The issue is not about how close or distant our relations are with them. In any case, they intend to exert pressure.»

He added that since the start of the war, Iraq has lost about $60 billion from its revenues, as well as 60% of its monthly export revenues.
