Jafar Qadari, a member of the Parliament’s Economic Commission, said, while referring to the consequences of the U.S. maritime blockade, that this situation has brought serious problems to Iran’s imports. He also reported a daily shortage of 15 to 20 million liters of gasoline in the country.
Qadari, on 7 Shahrivar 1405, in an interview with Dideban, said that 83% of Iran’s total 210 million tons of imports are carried out through the southern sea borders, and added: “When we are under a maritime blockade, we face problems. After all, how much capacity do we have in the eastern, western, and northern corridors?”
