He has signed a legally binding agreement under which he commits to not break his campaign promises; otherwise, he will permanently lose the right to run again for the governorship of Florida.

His promises include:

Rejecting all campaign contributions from AIPAC and other lobby groups that operate on behalf of foreign countries.

Not trading stocks while holding public office.

Not allowing the construction of new data centers.

Not imposing health restrictions similar to the COVID-era quarantines.

Not criminalizing freedom of speech.

Not restricting the right to carry and possess firearms.

Not expanding access to abortion.
